The fermentation is done in granite presses, with foot treading and controlled temperature. The second of many expected vintages from Quinta de Monforte in Penafiel."

"Born in Chaves, he soon returned to the family's birthplace, where he ended up buying the granite hill fort he could see from his bedroom, on the outskirts of Penafiel. Once the family was settled in the manor house, here he produces vinho verde and is going to build a tourism unit with 30 rooms."
